This past weekend we decided to make a trip to San Diego. We took Eli to the zoo for the first time. He loves animals, but I guess he didn't find sleeping animals to be that exciting! He did like the elephants, but by far, his favorite were the double decker tour buses. Everytime they went by (about every 5 mins) he said "Whoa! Beep Beep!" He also had fun on the "Skyfari" because he got to look down on everything. For lunch he insisted on sharing Kelly's nachos...even the jalapenos, which he suprisingly enjoyed.
The next day we got to visit with several people, including uncle Danny, aunt Tonita, and cousin Buttercup (the dog). I'm not sure who licked who more, Buttercup or Eli. After dinner in Little Italy and dessert at the Yogurt Mill (yummy!)we visited Danny's work and got to check out all of the planes.
