We finally made it to the beach this weekend. We were hoping that ,since Eli is now older and more mature than his first beach trip, that he would not be intersted in eating sand and might even venture into the water.....Hmmmm, well, not so much. As you can see 
he still finds sand to be pretty tasty. And the water was a little on the cold side, so we can't blame him there. Matt thought it would be funny to burry Eli, but Eli was not so amused. Anyways, it was great just to escape the blazing sun in Valencia and enjoy the sea breeze.
We also entered Eli into a cute baby contest with the photo below. We'll have to wait and see what happens. He is still a ham. 
Eli is also starting a new phase of mommy attachment. He follows Kelly everywhere and likes to hang onto her legs.

This past weekend we went to Oxnard shores (we have a friend that lives a short walk from the beach there)We normally just stick to Ventura beaches since the LA beaches seem to always be poluted.
We will keep you posted about the contest.
