Mammoth
For this year's family vacation, we decided to go to Mammoth with some friends (Dan P, Candice, Joshy & Jenna) We all stayed in a condo up there for a few nights. The first couple days were very trying...Eli was screaming, biting, hitting, and refusing to eat. We finally gave him some Tylenol and he was back to his normal, mostly-happy self for the rest of the trip! Apparenlty high-altitude can make little kids go crazy!!! Matt enjoyed several hikes with the guys....including one down into a cave inside the Earthquake fault (I guess those signs that say "do not go over these ropes" don't apply to them) We had fun riding the gondola, visiting "Devil's Postpile", and enjoying the scenery. Our time in Mammoth quickly came to an end before we were able to do and see all that we wanted to. On our way back home, Eli had the highlight of his trip when we stopped at the train museum in Bishop. He also enjoyed the Mt.Whitney fish hatchery.
