Most of you know that we have moved a lot since we've been married (usually not by choice). Well, after recently getting news that we would have to once again move (this would be residence #6!)we decided to make some big decisions. After a lot of praying, looking at many options, and making several pros vs cons lists we finally came to a bittersweet decision. We decided to move to Bakersfield! We actually signed all the papers last night, so it's official.
We are really excited about our new home and especially excited that Matt will not have to work so much overtime to afford it, which means that he will actually be able to spend time at home with the family! The picture above is what our (2500 sq foot!)home will look like.
We love Santa Clarita, and the move away will not be easy. It will be especially hard to leave all of our friends/family and awesome church. We are already praying that God will provide us with new friends and a church family that we can serve in Bakersfield.
Our home is expected to be ready around September 30th (just a couple months before baby is expected) So for those of you that don't want to drive to Bakersfield to visit us....you just have this summer!

Congratulations on the new home. We heard that you visited David, Jamie and Jeffrey yesterday in Bakersfield. How close will your home be to theirs? At least you'll already know someone in the area! Also, I'm sure you know that Matt's Aunt Linda and her family live nearby too. Let the packing begin!
Thanks. Our home is just about 5 miles down the street from David & Jamie so I'm sure we will be seeing a lot of each other!

That is a very nice looking home! That's a little closer to Boise than Santa Clarita... :)
