Another Update on Matt's Back

Matt finally had another doctor's appointment today! He opted against the epidural and decided to "man-up" and stick-out the pain until the surgery. (Typical Matt)
He will meet with his surgeon on October 23rd to discuss the surgery. I suppose, then we wait until the surgeon has an opening.
Thanks again for all your continued prayers. The Lord has provided an excellent surgeon that came highly recommended by several people. We also now have a nurse case manager on our side to facilitate things and make sure that there are no more delays.
If all moves along QUICKLY, Matt is expected to return to work around the first of the year. I guess our macaroni & cheese diet will have to suffice for a couple more months, haha!

Change of subject.....with Elijah's new walking skill, comes the inevitable falls. Yesterday, he fell at the park and had his first bloody lip (he must have cut himself with his tooth). I'm sure it hurt Kelly more than Eli. He barely cried, but he had a fat lip for the rest of the day. All that remains now is a little scrape above his upper lip.

Oh, and another thing...if any of you have been checking the link for Eli's photos and wondering why there are no recent photos, it is because there is apparently a problem with the new version of Yahoo photos. We are able to upload pics, but for some reason they are only viewable when we are signed in under Eli's account. Hopefully this problem will be fixed soon.
